Job summary

SVS Vision Opticians will help customers select the right eyewear, lenses, or contacts based on their prescription. You will work as part of a team of eye care professionals to ensure accuracy and patient satisfaction, guiding choices with style and fit.

Provide excellent service, build relationships with patients, and maintain knowledge of optical products. The role offers above-market salaries, generous benefits, and earning potential through commissions and referrals.

Qualifications

• Maintain license as required by State.
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an office and/or optical dispensing setting is preferred.
• Able to handle multiple customer interactions/phone calls at a time.
• Able to analyze prescriptions, perform repairs/adjustments and lifestyle dispensing.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and patient service according to company and store standards.
• Analyze patient eyewear needs.
• Recommend specific lenses, lens coatings and frames to satisfy patient needs.
• Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and measurements and prescriptions.
• Order and dispense eyewear accurately and professionally.
• Assist patients with frame repairs and adjustments.
• Show patients how to insert, remove and care for their contact lenses.
• Process medical billing information.
• Balance accounts and manage frame inventory.
