Dr. Tavel Optical Group is seeking an Optician in Indianapolis. We will teach you everything you need to know; bring curiosity and a willingness to learn. This role offers a path to a rewarding career in a fast-paced setting focused on style, service, and healthcare.

You’ll train for two weeks at our corporate office in Indianapolis, with paid training and growth milestones. Availability includes some Saturdays, and starting pay is competitive with pathways to raises through certifications.

• Strong people skills and sharp attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients in selecting eyewear that fits their face, lifestyle, and vision needs.
• Educate patients on lens options, eyewear care, and how to get the most out of their glasses.
• Manage front-desk tasks like insurance verification, scheduling, and benefit authorizations.
• Place and process eyewear orders with precision and troubleshoot when needed.
• Make minor repairs and adjustments for comfortable fit.
• Build lasting relationships with patients to keep them coming back.
• Stay on top of development with training, certifications, and milestones.
• Ability to travel to support other locations if needed.
