Job summary

Adventure Dental & Vision in Wichita, KS is seeking an Optician to assist pediatric patients in selecting eyeglass frames, ensure proper frame fitting, and manage glasses and contact orders. The role reports to the Assistant Operations Manager and requires a background as an optician with pediatric experience.

Qualifications

• At least one year of previous experience as an optician.
• ABO certification a plus.
• Experience and interest in working with children.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.
• Attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist our pediatric patients and families in selecting eyeglass frames that match their prescription
• Confirm proper frame fits and adjustments
• Work with glasses and contact orders and quotes
• Educate patients and families on frame options and coatings
• Help with frame repairs and troubleshooting
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Adventure Dental & Vision in Wichita, KS, is currently seeking an Optician to join our pediatric vision business. This position will report to the Assistant Operations Manager.

Pay Range: $18-$24/hr
