Job summary

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Santa Fe, NM is seeking an optician to join our pediatric vision team. You will assist families in selecting frames, ensure proper fits, manage orders for glasses and contacts, and educate patients on options.

The role requires at least one year of optician experience, ABO certification a plus, and comfort working with children in a high-volume setting. This position offers generous pay, monthly bonuses, PTO, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assist our pediatric patients and families in selecting eyeglass frames that match their prescription.
• Confirm proper frame fits and adjustments.
• Work with glasses and contact orders and quotes.
• Educate patients and families on frame options and coatings.
• Help with frame repairs and troubleshooting.
• Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children.

Job Details

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Santa Fe, NM is currently seeking an Optician to join our pediatric vision business. This position will report to the Assistant Operations Manager.

Pay Range: $20-$23/hr (AND BONUS OPPORTUNITY)
