Job summary

PDS Optical is seeking an experienced Optician to join our team at the Columbia, SC VA clinic. The role focuses on delivering high-quality eyewear and excellent service to Veterans, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4:30 PM and no nights or weekends.

Qualified candidates must hold a South Carolina Optician license and be able to fit, adjust, repair, and sell eyewear, using lensometers, pupilometers, and computer systems. Prior familiarity with VA benefits is a plus.

Qualifications

• South Carolina licensed optician required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Skilled in fitting, adjusting, repairing, and selling eyewear.
• Proficient with manual lensometers, pupilometers, and computer systems.
• Familiarity with VA optical benefits and discounts is a plus.
