Role Description

This full-time Optician role is an on-site position located in Hillsboro, OR. The Optician will assist patients in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and lenses based on prescriptions and lifestyle needs, ensuring proper measurements and adjustments for comfort and visual performance. Daily responsibilities include interpreting optical prescriptions, recommending lens options and frame styles, and verifying the accuracy and quality of finished eyewear. The role also involves supporting patient flow, coordinating with optometrists and other clinical staff, and educating patients on eyewear care and use. The Optician will provide courteous in-person customer service, manage orders and inventory related to frames and lenses, and help maintain a clean, well-organized optical dispensary. Knowledge around insurance and educating patients of the benefits that they have.

Qualifications
