Duties

• Market and sell great products to patients
• Conduct fittings and adjustments of eyewear to ensure proper fit and comfort.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including prescriptions and order details.
• Educate patients on proper eyewear care and usage.
• Collaborate with optometrists to provide the best care
• Manage inventory levels of frames, lenses, and other optical supplies.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to optics and eye care.
• Familiarity with retail sales techniques, including retail math for inventory management.
• Ability to understand vital signs in a clinical setting is a plus.
• Basic understanding of anatomy as it relates to eye health.
• Experience in medical billing and coding is advantageous but not required.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including senior care considerations.
