Job summary

Nokia in Sunnyvale, CA seeks an individual contributor technician to build and maintain optical device characterization systems during the pilot production and manufacturing phases of photonic integrated circuits.

You will perform full tool maintenance for multiple test stations, troubleshoot, repair, and support production, collaborate with engineering to implement hardware enhancements, and with the operations team to develop and transfer procedures. Night shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated test equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement hardware enhancements.
• Develop and transfer operational procedures with the operations team.
• Ensure tool quality and availability to support production.

Responsibilities

• Full tool maintenance responsibilities for multiple device characterization test stations, including station build, quality control using statistical process control, standard maintenance, and custom troubleshooting and repair
• Work with engineering team to implement hardware enhancements
• Work with operation team to develop and transfer operational procedures
• Responsible for tool quality and availability and supporting production
• Requires working in night shift
