Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Optical Engineering, Photonics, Physics, or related field.

• Proficiency in Zemax and optical simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of optical coupling systems (fiber-to-chip, free-space) for photonic devices.
• Develop and optimize packaging for optical stability and manufacturability.
• Create prototypes and oversee testing to meet performance metrics.
• Mentor optical engineers and collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams.
• Produce detailed design docs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
