Qualifications

• 0–2 years of optical engineering experience, delivering technical solutions.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Foundational experience with optical systems, photonics, or optoelectronics through coursework or internships.
• Hands-on lab experience with optical alignment, measurement and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Support design and analysis of optical systems including lenses, illumination, detectors and optomechanical components.
• Perform hands-on lab work: optical alignment, characterization and troubleshooting of prototypes.
• Assist with system modeling and performance analysis using optical simulation and data tools.
• Conduct experiments: data collection, analysis and documentation of results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration and product development.
• Contribute to verification, validation and qualification activities.
