Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Staff Optical Subsystem I&T Engineer to support the EO group in Chandler, AZ. Lead cross‑functional teams to integrate and test electro‑optical hardware and develop robust test suites.

You will calibrate optical test equipment and present data to stakeholders while mentoring junior engineers. The role requires a Secret clearance, experience with EO imaging systems, and hands-on integration of complex hardware in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field with extensive EO experience.
• MS or PhD is preferred for advanced roles.

Mansioni

• Lead multidisciplinary teams in the integration and testing of electro-optical subsystems at subassembly and seeker system levels.
• Develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures based on system requirements.
• Oversee hardware/software/firmware integration ensuring interoperability and on-time delivery.
• Analyze data, verify performance against specifications, and drive corrective actions.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical growth within the team.
• Maintain and calibrate optical test equipment and environments for accuracy.
