Qualifications

• Two years business management experience preferred.
• Varied optical management experience preferred.
• Experience in negotiating general business contracts with vendors.
• Familiarity with managed vision care contracting.
• Budgetary experience.
• Inventory management experience.
• Maintains all required state licensure.

Responsabilités

• Develops an annual business plan for the optical shop and presents it to the owners.
• Develops annual marketing plans with the management team.
• Serves as primary interface with vendors.
• Develops and manages effective inventory control.
• Tracks referrals and capture rate effectively.
• Develops and communicates effective monthly reports.
• Tracks and reports sales margins in aggregate and by plan.
• Researches local and regional managed care opportunities.
• Travel required.
