PDS Optical is seeking an Optical Shop Administrative Assistant to join our Jacksonville VA location. This full-time role supports daily store operations, greets patients, handles basic bookkeeping, and helps ensure accurate orders and payments.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no nights or weekends. We offer competitive pay, health insurance, a 401(k) match, paid time off, and other benefits to support our team and Veterans we serve.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Optical experience is preferred but not required.
• Good computer skills and working knowledge of standard computer equipment.

Responsabilités

• Provide friendly, professional service to Veterans.
• Assist with duties associated with the daily opening and closing of the store.
• Greet and help patients with information necessary to receive their eyewear.
• Basic bookkeeping duties: track patient orders, record purchases, and collect payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to Veterans.
• Assist with duties associated with the daily opening and closing of the store
• Greet and help patients with information necessary to receive their eyewear
• Basic bookkeeping duties associated with tracking patient's order and recording purchases, collecting payment and other necessary information for each patient
