Job summary

ASML is seeking a First Line Support Production Engineer for the Wilton Factory. The role involves heavy Cleanroom activity, rapid response to engineering disturbances, and executing steps on the production operator dashboard to support output.

You will troubleshoot optical alignment, metrology issues and tool failures, analyze MATLAB scripts, and contribute to diagnostics, procedures and data-driven improvements within a cross‑functional team.

Qualifications

• BS in Optical Engineering required; 0+ years for Grade 6 or 2+ years for Grade 7 with MS is acceptable.
• Experience with optical metrology setups and optical alignment is expected.
• Knowledge of image/signal/data processing, statistics and software development is a plus.
• Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Reading optical, mechanical and electrical drawings is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Spend ~75% of time in the Cleanroom supporting production processes and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot optical alignment, metrology, module test and final qualification issues.
• Analyze MATLAB scripts and plot data from databases.
• Develop OCAPs, Fishbones and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Support DOA root cause analysis and PFMEA.
