Job summary

Thorlabs in Columbia, SC is seeking a Process Technician to fabricate optical components in a cleanroom, operating precision equipment and following production processes. You will read work instructions, monitor process performance, ensure quality, and maintain a safe, organized workspace while handling hazardous materials.

The position requires at least 1 year of manufacturing experience or related technical education, a High School Diploma (Associate's preferred), and willingness to travel up

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience or related technical education.
• Experience with lab safety and hygiene preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills; able to use computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work instructions.
• Execute production processes including lithography, etching, high vacuum coating, and cleaning.
• Operate automated processing tools and inspect products for quality.
