Job summary

Altechna group is seeking an experienced Fabrication Technician / Optical Polisher to join our production team. You will polish spherical optical components to tight tolerances, using spindle pitch polishing machines and precision measurement tools, in a quality-driven environment.

The role requires 5+ years of polishing experience, ability to read technical drawings, and a methodical, detail-oriented approach. We offer a day shift and a competitive benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of optical polishing experience.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
• Methodical, detail-oriented and organized with a quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Polish spherical optics to tight specifications using polishing machines.
• Block optical parts and fabricate polishing laps per process requirements.
• Polish materials including fused silica and precision glasses.
• Measure and inspect parts with interferometer and test plates for quality and production support.
