Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the software development for optical payload and ground terminals in the TeraWave program. You will own planning, IMS, risk management, and budgets across software, hardware, and systems teams.

The role requires 8+ years in software/hardware programs, 3+ years in TPM leadership, and knowledge of optical systems. A PMP or agile experience is preferred; base pay ranges for WA apply.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, optical engineering, physics, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software or hardware development programs.
• 3+ years in TPM, program management, or systems engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning, scheduling, and execution for optical payload software development.
• Define and maintain integrated master schedules (IMS) and manage dependencies across teams.
• Track milestones, risks, issues, and budgets; drive resolutions.
• Lead program reviews and executive-level status reporting.
• Serve as technical integrator across software, optical, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
