Job summary

Amazon seeks a Network Development Engineer for the ADC Networking Scaling and Deployment team. You will drive expansion of AWS’s IP network infrastructure, build automated deployments, and lead high‑level network scaling projects across AWS data centers.

On‑call rotation is required for 24/7 operations, and a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is needed. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement scalable optical networking solutions, maintain standards, and deliver repeatable

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and robust troubleshooting.
• Experience with optical protocols and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with optical system and network design.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver network optical scaling and build projects, review BOMs, and define implementation plans.
• Maintain and troubleshoot AWS networks, diagnose large-scale events, and ensure security and compliance.
