Job summary

AOI in Sugar Land, TX is seeking Optical Device & Module Integration Engineers to support integration of optical devices, electronics, and packaging into modules and transceivers. You will collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and reliability teams to improve product performance and resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in EE, optics, physics, materials science, or related field.
• Experience in optical devices, modules, or transceivers preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Ability to communicate findings and work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support device and module integration, including testing and characterization.
• Investigate performance, yield, and reliability issues via data analysis.
• Plan and execute experiments to understand device–assembly interactions.
• Document requirements, test methods, and process improvements for NPI.
• Communicate findings and verify corrective actions.
