Job summary

Adecco is currently assisting a manufacturing client in the San Fernando Valley with a Mechanical Assembly role in Los Angeles area. You will mount lenses into frames, verify optical specs, and adjust frames, using precision tools.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years in mechanical assembly, strong dexterity, and attention to detail. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with weekly pay and benefits after one week.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1–3 years of mechanical assembly experience.
Strong motor skills and manual dexterity required.
Attention to detail and reliability essential.
Able to stand and perform light to moderate lifting.
Spanish bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

Mount finished lenses into frames using hand tools and ensure proper optical alignment.
Verify lens power, axis, and prism with lensometers; check for surface defects.
Adjust, replace, or repair broken frames and lenses.
Use calipers and lensometers to measure and verify alignment and prescriptions.
Maintain a clean, organized workstation and keep records of production goals.
