Job summary

Candidates should have 7+ years in optical/micro-assembly and be eligible for US security clearance. US salary range is $41.35–$54.81 hourly, with full benefits and equity typically offered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in optical assembly, micro-assembly, or precision electronics manufacturing.
• Experience handling precision optical components.
• Familiarity with automated fluid dispensing systems.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to carry 50 pounds for short periods.
• Ability to multitask and switch to new assignments on short notice.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a United States Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and handle optical and optomechanical components into housings per blueprints, drawings, and SOPs.
• Align optical systems using lasers, collimators, interferometers, autocollimators, and microscopes.
• Complete production logs, device history records (DHR), quality checklists, and enter test data into the database.
• Troubleshooting: identify and diagnose assembly failures and misalignments; collaborate with manufacturing engineers on corrective actions.
