Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, ECE, or Optics.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience with focus on measurement concepts and software development.
• Data analysis proficiency with tools such as Access, Excel, Minitab, JMP or Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced measurement techniques to drive capability improvements in glass manufacturing processes.
• Lead cost reduction and process improvement projects with division-wide impact.
• Support and improve existing optical measurement systems.
• Partner with technology and plant manufacturing teams to deploy new technologies, products, and processes.
• Coordinate with global manufacturing sites to address glassmaking-related technical challenges with focus on measurements.
