Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Physics or related field; 6–8 years with MS 4–6 or PhD 0–3.
• Hands-on optics, metrology, measurement and inspection systems in industrial/automation env.
• Engineering mechanics knowledge: fixtures, tooling, tolerance analysis, alignment.
• Ability to lead technical projects across engineering disciplines with strong communication.
• Programming in C#, C++, Java; solid software engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate automated measurement, sensing, inspection, and test solutions.
• Lead system architecture decisions, feasibility studies, and POC to reduce risk.
• Drive integration of measurement hardware, sensors, fixtures, and software; troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, controls, software, and manufacturing teams to define requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers, support IP documentation, and communicate results and risks.
