Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in optics, optical engineering, physics, EE, or mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years of electro‑optical or opto‑mechanical systems experience.
• Hands‑on experience with laser systems in lab, industrial, or capital equipment settings.
• Experience developing and validating calibration and verification processes for optical or laser systems.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to mentor engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead optical subsystem integration from initial bring‑up through commissioning and production.
• Own optical calibration procedures and verification methods.
• Lead RCCA investigations for optical system failures and production issues.
• Mentor engineers and technicians in optical alignment, troubleshooting, and laser safety.
