Job summary

Eyemart Express is hiring for an AR Lab Technician in our centralized Optical Lab at the Home Office. The role focuses on cleaning, coating and creating prescription lenses to ensure timely completion and shipment to retail stores.

You will work with optical lab equipment, read prescriptions, and maintain lab safety and organization. Training is provided for candidates with lab or production experience and a strong eye for detail. Join a growing national optical leader.

Qualifications

• Optical lab experience preferred but not required; training available.
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
• Ability to read and interpret prescription specifications.

Responsibilities

• Identify and operate basic optical coating laboratory equipment, tools, supplies and materials.
• Meet hourly deadlines for finishing jobs.
• Read and interpret prescription specifications and input into computer accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe lab area and equipment.
• Perform routine lab equipment maintenance as scheduled.
