Job summary

Shopko Optical's proprietary lab in De Pere, WI is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair Optical Lab equipment and to ensure preventive maintenance is completed on all lab gear. You will set up new equipment and perform facility maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years equipment maintenance experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to repair sophisticated equipment.
• Optical experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Analytical and decisive mindset.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Optical Lab equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on lab equipment.
• Set up new lab equipment and calibrations.
• Maintain facility: HVAC, lighting, electrical and plumbing.
• Document repairs and maintenance actions; coordinate with vendors.
