Job summary

National Vision is seeking Maintenance Technicians to service and maintain equipment in the optical lab. The role centers on preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment performance to minimize downtime.

Our FT 2nd shift positions work 3 days/week with 4 days off. Shift times: 3:30 pm - 4:00 am (Shift 2A: Sun–Tue, Shift 2B: Wed–Fri). Competitive base pay plus 10% shift differential and bonus opportunities, with a generous PTO plan and benefits.

Qualifications

No specific education required.
1-3 years previous experience in industrial maintenance, diagnosis and repair (electro/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, servo drives, HVAC).
Manufacturing experience desired; optical industry knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

Performing Preventative Maintenance on all equipment, maintaining PM checklists.
Handling work orders to resolve machine issues and minimize production downtime.
Servicing and maintaining Edgers, Generators and Blockers.
Cleaning, changing parts, performing checks, calibrating.
Identifying issues and performing repairs.
Assisting with installations, fabrications, servicing of other equipment and systems in the lab.
Following all safety measures, Lock out / Tag out procedures and utilizing PPE if required.
