Job summary

Shopko Optical operates a manufacturing facility in De Pere, Wisconsin, producing eyewear for patients served at more than 140 locations. Production Specialists fabricate, assemble and finish lenses using state-of-the-art equipment, while maintaining lab standards and safety practices.

Starting pay is $18/hour with a $500 sign-on bonus. We offer a fixed schedule on 1st or 2nd shift, on-the-job training, 401(k) with match, and paid time off to support a productive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to learn and perform production-related tasks.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Optical experience a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate optical manufacturing equipment.
• Fabricate, assemble, treat and handle lenses through different manufacturing processes.
• Inspect lens blanks for flaws and verify surface smoothness.
• Maintain production output standards and quality.
• Partner with team to continuously improve processes.
• Follow safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.
