Job summary

Walman is seeking a Distribution Clerk (Inventory and Lens Order) to accurately enter material orders and manage stock for Rx and orders. You will process lens orders, manage inventory, and ensure accurate data entry for timely vendor communications.

The role requires attention to detail, experience in distribution/logistics, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. This is a full-time on-site position at a Walman facility part of EssilorLuxottica.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a distribution/logistics environment.
• High attention to detail and good reading/writing/communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Proficiency with laptop, keyboard and 10-key typing.

Responsibilities

• Key lens order and stock entry into computer and coordinate with vendors for Rx/stock processing.
• Interpret reports on inventory levels, purchase orders, and fill rates.
• Perform cycle counts and periodic inventory.
• Follow promotions, policies and procedures in order entry tasks.
• Recheck Rx’s for accuracy before lab processing.
• Match vendor shipping memos and invoices; submit documents for payment.
