Job summary

Shopko Optical in Morris, MN seeks an Office Assistant to support the optical center team. Greet patients, answer calls, book appointments, and manage patient files while assisting with tasks that do not impact vision care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an office is preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to handle multiple customer interactions/phone calls at a time.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Able to work cross-functionally with excellent attention to detail and follow through.
• Solid interpersonal relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers.
• Answer the telephone in a professional manner.
• Book appointments accurately.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Confirm appointments.
• Process transactions in the optical billing and point of sale systems.
• Process medical billing information.
• Organize and file patient and customer records.
• Operate a cash register and optical equipment.
