Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with test and measurement equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or TPS concepts is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and layouts.
• Strong attention to detail and quality mindset is essential.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform production testing of specialty optical fiber and cable per procedures.
• Operate advanced test equipment to evaluate product performance.
• Follow drawings, prints, recipes, layouts, and workmanship standards.
• Monitor processes, equipment condition, and flow; report issues.
• Enter test data into databases to maintain traceability.
• Communicate performance info to Production and Engineering teams.
• Stop production if quality is at risk and document issues.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
