The role combines optical product development, applications engineering and testing, with direct collaboration across the 3LED Group and with customers.

You’ll design and improve lenses and optics for LED systems, support customers from concept through evaluation, and help bring innovative lighting solutions to market.

Qualifications

• Degree in optical engineering, physics, photonics, or related field.
• Strong optics fundamentals with LED/illumination interest.
• Hands-on industry or research experience.
• Analytical approach to experiments and measurements.
• Strong communication with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve lenses, TIR optics, diffusers, and light guides.
• Understand customer requirements and propose solutions.
• Support Fusion Optix and 3LED Group across teams.
• Develop prototypes and perform tests to characterize performance.
• Use optical modeling and lab measurements to guide improvements.
• Contribute to specifications, test reports, and documentation.
