CTG is seeking an Optical Measurements Systems Engineer II for a on-site contract in Painted Post, NY. You will develop, assemble, test, and deploy optical and computer vision measurement systems supporting metrology, inspection and testing of products.
Responsibilities include transferring technology to manufacturing, working with suppliers, designing experiments, and creating release documentation. Strong knowledge of optics, DSP, and image processing is required.

Education: BS or MS in Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
An engineering position that includes development, assembly, testing and deployment of optical and computer vision-based measurement systems in support of the metrology, inspection and testing of products. Work as part of a team to manage the transfer of technology from development to manufacturing.
BS or MS in Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, with 3+ years of hands-on experience with machine vision and metrology equipment; or PhD in one of these fields. Training or hands-on experience with vision systems is required.
