Job summary

CTG is seeking an Optical Measurements Systems Engineer II for a on-site contract in Painted Post, NY. You will develop, assemble, test, and deploy optical and computer vision measurement systems supporting metrology, inspection and testing of products.

Responsibilities include transferring technology to manufacturing, working with suppliers, designing experiments, and creating release documentation. Strong knowledge of optics, DSP, and image processing is required.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with machine vision and metrology equipment, or PhD in related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement optical and computer vision measurement systems across development to production.
• Transfer technology from development to manufacturing; work with suppliers for key components.
• Design experiments, analyze data, and implement improvements to measurement systems and processes.
• Create documentation and procedures for release to production and train staff on usage.
