Qualifications

• Two years of college or more required; ABO certification and state licensure may be required within specified timeframes.
• ABO certification within 15 months is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads department sales growth through merchandising, pricing, inventory oversight and seasonal execution.
• Oversees eyewear and contact lens consultations, fittings, adjustments and education.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance, accurate documentation, and safety protocols.
• Leads the optical team through hiring, training, performance management and recognition.
• Ensures apprentice opticians have sponsorship and clear development pathways.
