Job summary

Energetiq is seeking a Production Technician (Temp-to-Perm) to support the assembly and testing of broadband Laser-Driven Light Source products in Wilmington, MA. Qualifications

• Post-High School degree. Preferably an Associate or Technician degree.
• Several years of related System Test, QA or assembly/test experience.
• Experience with QA/QC processes.
• 5–10 years in a low-volume, highly technical manufacturing environment.
• Experience with clean rooms, optics, analog/digital electronics, and optical metrology.
• Experience with lasers and laser optics.

Responsibilities

• Test products to ensure performance specifications are met.
• Perform delicate bonding of optical components with alignment fixtures.
• Assemble integrated systems of optical and mechanical components.
• Complete work orders and report delays or quality problems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment as needed.
• Read blueprints/diagrams to guide assembly and use precision measuring tools.
• Test electro-mechanical assemblies and verify dimensions.
