Job summary

Stemilt Growers is seeking a production associate for the night shift in Wenatchee, WA. You will read schedules, set up fruit drops on the sizer, and adjust weights to meet grade requirements. Maintain production pace, keep the area clean, and learn Stemilt fruit grades while improving sorting efficiency.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED, excellent communication, English literacy, and basic computer/Oracle/Discoverer capabilities. May require weekends. Pre-employment drug test applies.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand pack schedules.

• Compile daily data and send to appropriate groups.

Number of openings: 1 Fulltime, Year Round

Location: A Line – Olds

Working Shift: Night Shift

Hours & Work Days: 4:00 pm – 12:30 am, Monday – Friday; May require weekends as needed.

This position will require a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Oracle and Discoverer capabilities.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Must be able to read, speak and write English.
• Must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds.

Duties:

• Displays an excellent ability to communicate.
