OPS Student Assistant – Computer Vision Video Analytics (CUTR) (Finance)

Hourly Rate: $18-$25

Hours: 10-20 hours per week

The Motorcycle Injury Prevention Research (MIPI) Program conducts research and educational outreach to reduce motor-vehicle injuries and fatalities, with a focus on motorcycles and electric bicycles. The interdisciplinary MIPI team includes engineers, planners, and public health professionals with expertise in behavioral traffic safety.

MIPI is currently conducting video-based research to count motorcycles and bicycles on roadways. The program is seeking an OPS student assistant to provide Computer Vision Video Analytics support.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer vision techniques (e.g., YOLO or similar models)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to provide and receive timely feedback
  • Ability to meet established deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Research experience in computer vision or video analytics
  • Valid driver's license
