JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary

Performs high level specialized operational securities processing activities in support of the firm's business lines. S/he is a subject matter specialist typically dealing with issues as they relate to processing security transactions that settle at the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB). This would include activities such as resolving trade problems, assisting others, settling transactions, client contact, and both share and cash reconciliation.

Principal Responsibilities
Transactions Processing

• Coordinate control/production related activities such as viewing work ticket queues and various FRB trade reports.
• Help to ensure all FRB delivery deadlines and requirements are being met.
• Provide timely and accurate responses to trade inquiries such as fail trade research, trade status, FRB Market Practice requirements, and Market to Market transfers.
• Coordinate intraday and end of day prioritization and reconciliation of daily work/proof control.

Problem Resolution

• Monitor and assist in the resolution of FRB trade issues and inquiries by Clients, RM's and Brokers.
• Escalate high value problem trades to management.

Communications

• Communicate professionally and constructively via email, phone with internal and external clients and counterparties to effectively resolve issues to minimize risk and exposure.
• Provide superior client service.
• Communicate as part of a team.

Process Improvement

• Gain efficiencies to improve individual productivity
• Contribute to Division or Firm process improvement activities
