Tallahassee State College is seeking an OPS Simulation Technician to support the Ghazvini Healthcare Center. This part-time role focuses on setting up, running, and troubleshooting simulation training to enhance student learning and safety in healthcare.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, one year of experience with high-fidelity simulators and multimedia equipment, and proficiency with PC/Mac software. Hours are 25 per week, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• One year of experience with high-fidelity human patient simulators, multimedia equipment, and experience with a variety of medical equipment.
• Computer proficiency in PC and Mac-based software applications.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with setting up and cleaning up of simulation environment prior and after the simulation sessions.
• Assisting in programming simulators and running simulation equipment during simulations including computer hardware, props, EHR, human patient simulators and audio-visual systems.
• Developing technical proficiency with all aspects of operation, maintenance support, trouble shooting and repair for all equipment.
• Coordinating transport of simulation equipment, as necessary. Conducting inventory of supplies.
• Assisting with data entry for various record-keeping. Creating moulage and any other materials for the simulation sessions as outlined in the scenarios' checklist, and other duties as assigned by the Director.

OPS Simulation Technician

Tallahassee State College is excited to announce a part-time opening for the position of OPS Simulation Technician in our Ghazvini Healthcare Center. We're looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.

What You’ll Do

As an OPS Simulation Technician, you'll play a key role in implementing simulation training designed to enhance student learning and promote safety and quality in healthcare.

The day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with setting up and cleaning up of simulation environment prior and after the simulation sessions.

• Assisting in programming simulators and running simulation equipment during simulations including computer hardware, props, EHR, human patient simulators and audio-visual systems.
