Job summary

Tallahassee State College is seeking a part-time OPS Maintenance Technician in the Facilities Department to perform maintenance and preventative maintenance on buildings and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, sheetrock, masonry, and related components. The role supports campus operations and safety.

You will work up to 20 hours per week with a schedule that varies. The ideal candidate has a High School or GED and experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, electronics, carpentry, masonry,

What You’ll Do

As OPS Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and preventative maintenance on buildings and equipment including electrical, plumbing, sheetrock, masonry and related components.

The Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

• Operates, maintains, and repairs HVAC systems and components including building automation systems.
• Operates and maintains vehicles including tractors, forklifts, boom lifts, loaders, large trucks, and motorized carts.
• Maintains small equipment used in the maintenance area.
