Job summary

Siemens is looking for undergraduates for a 12-week Operations Leadership Development Program summer internship with the Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products division. The program runs May 17 – August 6 and offers placement at Fort Worth, Grand Prairie, Hingham, Roebuck, Spartanburg, and Broken Arrow locations.

You will own hands-on manufacturing projects, drive improvements with LEAN, Six Sigma, and Kanban, and collaborate across teams to improve capacity, planning, logistics, and overall

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program and will continue studies after the internship.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Industrial Systems Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Electrical/Mechanical Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or related majors.
• Available to work full-time during standard business hours (40 hours/week) May 17 through August 6, 2027.
• Willing to relocate to Fort Worth, Grand Prairie, Hingham, Roebuck, Spartanburg, or Broken Arrow (housing stipend and mileage reimbursement if relocation over 50 miles).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own hands-on projects in manufacturing operations, production planning, quality assurance, procurement, or project management.
• Use LEAN, Six Sigma, and Kanban to analyze and improve production processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize capacity, material planning, procurement, logistics, or supply chain.
• Participate in trainings, fireside chats, skill workshops, mentorship, and networking for development.
