Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Engineering degree with two years' experience; or associate with five years; or high school diploma with 15 years of experience.
• Experience with manufacturing process improvement, root cause analysis, nonconformance resolution, MRB activities preferred.
• Experience collaborating with Design Engineering and Manufacturing preferred.
• Aerospace/defense or regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturability reviews to identify risks and ensure designs are production-capable.
• Serve as Operations contact for Design Engineering and provide input through design changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturability, reduce complexity, cost, and cycle time.
• Support development and implementation of DFM/DFA, processes, tooling, and controls.
• Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to Production for process-related issues and coordinate solutions.
• Participate in MRB activities, investigate nonconformances, and coordinate resolutions with stakeholders.
