Job summary

Bridger Photonics, Inc. in Bozeman, MT is seeking an Operations Support Engineer to sustain the Gas Mapping LiDAR systems through hands-on tech work, cross-functional coordination, and QA activities.

You will partner with GML Operations, Hardware, IT, and Software teams to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality data products, while contributing to process improvements and documentation. This role requires 2+ years in a technical/operational setting, strong Excel skills, and willingness

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. in a technical or scientific field.
• 2+ years experience in a technical or operational environment.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and data handling.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support operations project logistics and data acquisition activities.
• Perform QA checks on GML reports and data products.
• Troubleshoot sensors, systems and data products at first level.
• Document root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Interface with data acquisition software and hardware systems.
• Assist with sensor construction, maintenance and qualification.
• Support quality control including hardware inspection and shipping coordination.
• Contribute to process documentation and lessons learned.
• Monitor subcontractor deployments and report findings to senior staff.
• Work non-standard schedules to support 7-day operations.
