Job summary

OPS Data Analyst position in the Florida Division of Emergency Management's Fiscal Operations Unit, located in Tallahassee, FL. The role oversees and coordinates Bureau of Mitigation systems, including automating data pipelines, building Power BI dashboards, managing financial databases, and generating automated reports.

The analyst will support emergency operations and collaborate with finance, IT, audit, and program teams to strengthen data governance and system integration.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years' professional experience in data analysis, financial reporting, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power Automate, Excel VBA, and Power BI.
• Experience with Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) or other financial accounting systems.
• Experience with federal grant reporting or data submissions to federal agencies such as FEMA.
• Post-secondary degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Public Administration, Finance, or related field may substitute for up to two years of required experience.
