Job summary

Florida Division of Emergency Management is seeking an OPS Data Analyst to oversee, design, and coordinate all Bureau of Mitigation data systems in Tallahassee. The role involves building automated data pipelines, dashboards, and financial reporting to improve budget forecasting and compliance.

The candidate will collaborate with finance, IT, audit, and program teams, provide system training, and support emergency operations during activations, including extended hours and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of professional experience in data analysis or financial reporting.
• Degree substitution allowed for experience on a year-for-year basis up to two years.
• Experience with FLAIR or other financial accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Automate data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Power Automate.
• Build secure databases and automate payment tracking.
• Design and manage Power BI dashboards and Excel VBA tools.
