Job summary

Florida Department of Law Enforcement is seeking a skilled analyst for the Cybercrime Technology Telecommunications Division to research, analyze, and evaluate intelligence supporting cybercrime investigations.

The analyst will independently review raw data and finished intelligence, assist investigators with evidence analysis, interview witnesses and victims, and prepare investigative reports and intelligence products. Strong writing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Four to nine years of experience in criminal intelligence, law enforcement, military intelligence, or crime analysis depending on level.
• Bachelor's degree from accredited college (substitutes for four years of experience)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of computer operations and social media platforms
• Ability to write clearly and present complex information in investigative reports
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning skills
• Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills for working with government agencies and courts
