Job summary

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is seeking a full-time Athletic Performance (Strength & Conditioning) Assistant to support Softball and Baseball programs on the Gainesville campus.

You will assist with daily strength and conditioning sessions, monitor and maintain training areas, perform data entry and administrative tasks, and provide flexible support to coaching staff as needed. This position is open until filled.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field.
• CSCS certification through NSCA.
• Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds.
• Ability to work a non-standard work week which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist strength & conditioning activities for Softball and Baseball.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of facilities.
• Data entry and provide support as needed.

Job description

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for a full-time Athletic Performance (Strength & Conditioning) Assistant. This position will assist the strength & conditioning activities for Softball and Baseball. Additional responsibilities include daily cleaning, maintenance, data entry, and providing support as needed. This position will be open until filled.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required Qualifications:

• 18 years of age.
• Bachelor’s degree exercise science or related field
• CSCS certification through the NSCA
• The ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds
• Ability to work a non-standard work week which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of NCAA & SEC rules and regulations

BENEFITS:

This is a full-time position (30-40 hours/week) with eligibility of health insurance only (according to regulations of ACA)
