Requirements: Valid licensure as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practical Registered Nurse in the State of Florida required.

This position provides services under the direction of a supervising physician. Takes patient history, performs comprehensive physical examinations, and makes assessments consistent with physical findings. Develops, reviews and/or revises treatment and therapy plans as needed. Prescribes medications and provides therapeutic interventions. Administers medication according to the formulary protocol or upon patients’ specific orders from a physician. Educates patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans. Maintains accurate, timely, and compliant electronic health records. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members. Assists in reviewing student medical records and establishing health acuity levels for students seeking admission to the school. Provide clinical guidance and direction to nursing staff regarding medical assessments and care plans.
