Job summary

The Coquille Indian Tribe seeks a licensed practical nurse to join the Opioid Treatment Program clinic in Oregon. You will administer methadone, perform nursing assessments, manage medications, coordinate with providers, and maintain clinical documentation.

Candidates must be an accredited LPN, hold an Oregon license, have outpatient experience, and be proficient with EHR systems and phlebotomy. BLS/First Aid, driver license, and HIPAA awareness required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current Oregon LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum of one-year outpatient LPN experience (OPIOID TREATMENT PROGRAM experience preferred).
• Demonstrated proficiency in phlebotomy and CLIA Waived point-of-care testing.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (preferred).
• Electronic Health Record experience required.
• First Aid/BLS certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Valid Oregon driver's license in good standing with no insurability issues.
• Mandatory reporter of abuse and neglect responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Triage medically related phone calls.
• Administer and dispense methadone per orders from licensed providers.
• Perform nursing assessments and chart progress.
• Coordinate with providers and team members for coordinated care.
• Provide patient education and maintain confidential documentation.
• Maintain methadone supplies and process medication orders.
• Assist with intake, record medical history, and update SOPs as needed.
• Support emergency medical treatment and maintain crash cart.
